How do I remove the w204 mirror casing

Hi,

I need to swap my mirror casing on my w204.

Anyone know how to do this ?

Tried myself but casing doesn;t want to come off easily i suspect screws holding casing somewhere

Any help much appreciated.

On the E class there is a hidden clip accessible through a slot when the mirror is folded. I'm imagine (as in a guess!) that it will be something similar.

This might help you Looks like you need to take out the mirror glass first if it is accurate.

Thanks for that, i'm trying but mirrors are off car

I think i need to power them up and maybe get access to mirror tabs by moving mirror in right position for access
