How many AMG GTC coupe in U.K.?

You know better than me.

Too few cars on the market for me to have any idea on pricing.

It seems expensive compared to similar/rival cars the way prices are dropping (correcting) now.

Even the roof lining is cream in the Exeter car 😣
It is very cream.

I do love a light interior, but as a rule I tend to go for two tone, black carpets and black dashboard - at least black upper dashboard - with a brighter leather seat face, door card and sometimes lower dashboard. That said I may break my own rule in the not too distant future 😬😳

Do I sense a shopping trip upcoming?

Does anyone daily a GT R?

I remember reading that cup 2’s are the only tyres available in oem size?

There are other options: Pirelli make both the PZero and Sottozero in the right matching sizes. You could also run the winter sizes should you wish without implication as long as the load ratings are correct.

If you’re only intending to use the car on the road, and you value wet (and all) weather performance over extreme dry grip, then you could use winter tyres for anything other than the height of summer.

Someone I know with a GT C - his car came from the factory on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres but the vast majority didn’t - uses Pirelli PZero winter tyres from mid/late September until early June.

He uses Michelin Pilot Super Sports from June to September. The MPSC2 tyres stay in storage! They just don't get enough heat into them driving very hard in anything other than very hot, very dry weather.

PS Yes the GT R could easily be used every day, although the GT C might be a better option to use every day.

So many more a R’s than C’s. That’s the only reason I’m tempted.

Cup 2’s are useless in the north west for 50 weeks a year.

MPSS and winter tyres is my preferred option.

Id be pissed if I ordered a new GT C and it arrived with cup 2’s.

They were specified new and only available on cars specified with the AMG Dynamic Plus Package which included dynamic engine and transmission mounts, firmer suspension, and a few other track orientated options.

PS The GT R could easily be used every day, especially if you another car for all the stuff the GT R would be unsuitable for. How easily it could be used as an only car would depend upon personal circumstances.

Once you’ve had a pick up it’s impossible to imagine not having one.
