I bought a 86 w124 300e 5 speed manual transmission with 288 km on the clock, I know they are scarce but would like some facts or figures. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks

I think that would be an impossible question to answer! Depends on the country, special orders, amg versions, diy conversions, ect.

I can tell you that 45,213 [3,780] W124 300E saloons [estates] were made in 1986. 5 speed manual box was a standard fitment on the 6 cylinder cars with a 4 speed auto option. As above figures for exact numbers of manual v auto box are not available.
