how many times do you clean your car

once a week usually as monday to friday i commute 30 miles each way so theres point during the week etc

Get it washed Friday night of Saturday :thumb:

My car was washed on Tuesday...and it will be washed again next July (even if it doesn't need it).

Never ever

My dear old dad had a white Renault 11 in the 80s which was 6 months old when he had it. When he decided to px it for a newer car 5 years later my brother and I were tasked with giving it a clean. He hadn't cleaned it all through his ownership, inside or out. When we washed it the bucket of water used resembled emulsion paint. His policy of allowing cigarette ash to fall to the carpet to deter moths was evidently successful! Needless to say my brother and I keep our cars immaculate!

I'm finding that the number of times I wash it is inversely proportional to the kerb damage on my wheels...

When the wheels were in need of a refurb, I rarely washed the car....

Now the wheels have been refurb'd, the car gets cleaned much more often - as it looks much better with mint wheels

Quick clean once a week

Thorough clean/polish/wax and protection once a month (sometimes longer dependent on weather)

Washed every week. Clayed when it's no longer smooth, then followed by a wax. Quick detailer in-between if it's just got light dust during the summer.

Wheels off once a quarter for a Poorboys wheel wax (can polish the red callipers at the same time).

Other than that only when it's dirty.

oh dear.. I last washed mine.... in 2012

I do >20k miles a year.. so about 30,000 miles ago.

do you think it needs a wash?

I've not bothered washing the Smart since it started raining.. when was it now.. November I think.

With a bit of luck I might have some potatoes growing in the dirt by spring.
