The silver one.
Just turned up today some Xerapol cream got the name of another post in elec section give it a try and the results are pretty good, mine are not yellowed as xenon lamps (so dont get hot like halogen)

Got it from netparts for £11.44 then find it on e bay for £7.50! tried e bay first but spelt it with an O as opposed to an A doh.

Few pics what do you think? pretty hard to get a decent pic of headlamps

After pics, i had tried a few days ago with solvol and that made an improvement but the xerapol has made them much better.
Look on benzworld if yours have yellowed as a couple of them have tried aerosol oven cleaner and the pics before and after are pretty amazing.

This is looking good. What do you do with the cream? How does it work?
Thanks.

Went to to work yesterday and every time i went out in the yard my eyes were drawn to the headlights sad i know:D

The blurb with the cream says there is a mild abrasive in the polish, didnt seem any more abrasive than the autosol, also said the cream melts the edges of the scratchs so you cant see them.

I just put some on a piece of mutton cloth aka polishing rag and rubbed away on each headlamp, no more than you would put on the head of a toothbrush.

The beam pattern is pretty bloody amazing, ive always said wifes 203 has much better lamps than mine, they are still better but only just ,before they were miles ahead.

Got to take it to work as mate wants to try it on his 01 landcruiser.

brilliant stuff

Just ordered some for mine.

Also will try on the main caravan window, as previous owner seemed to have used a scouring pad in the middle of it.

Mate with toyota very impressed hes just ordered some so he can do his partners car another landcruiser, got to admit they did look good after he had done them.

be careful when polishing headlamps, many of the headlamps are made of plastic these days and it is possible to remove the "finish" of the plastic and make them duller than you started with.

Proser you can "flat" scratches out of caravan windows with 1200 wet & Dry or finer and then T-Cut I can verify it works as always try on hidden part first.

This polish is specifically for plastics:) quite a few out there do a google.

The reason they require polishing is they either go yellow or fade as mine have/had.
