How to embarrass a Veyron

I've seen Marks CRX in action , and beleive me , it's a monster ....

Still toying with the idea of getting another ....

I know where there is a one owner, K plate , 112k , FHSH, CRX VTEC , maintained money no object , coming up for sale soon , at reasonable money ...

Quite fancy this BM i've been looking at though .... checked that out and it's all good too ...

I have spent too much time building stuff recently to transfer any video over It currently has about 360hp in full drag trim and about 280hp when used on a circuit. We could use full power on the circuit but so far we haven't needed it as we beat all the competition at reduced power

Current TOTB6 FWD handling champ

Its sublime on the handling circuit but still too slow on the 1/4 mile - we are dealing with that now and hope to clock an 11 sec 1/4 this year - whilst returning 40+ mpg going to and from the circuits!
This is no trailer queen it has been driven to and from every event for the last 21/2 years and totalled 28k miles on that engine.

Howard - you posted the pic of my old car - and half my greying head!
Unfortuantely it was stolen and although we got some parts back it was never recovered

It did blow as piston due to a faulty injector at Bruntingthorpe at about 170mph on the top speed run - but even then it drove home.
I built the Silver one for a very good friend from scratch in 10 days after the black one was stolen out of a huge pile of spares I had lying around!

Since then I have aquired 4 more including an ultralightweight NASP 2.0 which has been pushed to 240hp and obliterates everything on the track except the turbo NASP

Here is the black car over 3 years ago running a 12.7 1/4 mile at TOTB3 against an 800hp Supra (who showed me what real HP was about)

Track video is my 2.0 nasp Vtec

Every car in that vid is a turbo/supercharged except the kitcar, a load of 220 turbo rovers, a supercharged mini and a calibra turbo. On the same day it also took out 3 Elises, an Exige and a pair of Evos

Lots of dented pride that day .....

there is a road test of the fighter in this months Top Gear Mag.

Barlow gets to grip with Bristols! hmmmm.

Lets hope its featured on the TV programme soon then. A Bristol on Top Gear. Thats a first.
I wrote to the magazine editor a time ago asking why Bristols were never even been referenced in the back page listings. And I was told back then that the only cars they test or mention are the cars that have been sent to them by the manufacturers - and as Bristol have never sent them a car for testing, then that was the end of it. Looks like they have either gone back on that principle - or Bristol have supplied them with a car at last.
