Mercedes C180 W203 Facelift (2006)
Hi. I have a 1998 C180 W202. It doesn't have the telescopic steering wheel adjustment that was an option when new. Is it possible to retrofit this now?, If so what is required and what is the cost.
Thanks.

All you really need is an electrically adjustable column and the switches.

Best to go to a breaker and have the lot in one go.

Remember that will have to be from a W210 or something other than the W202, which had no power adjustable column option. I believe the W210 item can be modified to fit.

i have gone through the epc - the 202 didnt have electrically adjustable steering in/out - 210 does.

good luck...

tell you the truth, I have the adjustable steering, but have never used it!!!!!

I guess once its set, its set!

exactly im not to keen on where it sits without the adjustable, it is rather high, when i sit back in the seat, not gangta style or anything just comfortably i cannot even see the odometer... i just want to lower it an inch or so. feel more sporty, sitting on my lap rather then up in the air...
