How to remove w210 glass from wing mirror

Hello guys just a quick question how do I go about removing the glass from the wing mirror of my w210 (2001 reg ) all tips and tricks appreciated lol

push it in at the bottom, and then a the top there's a wire clip you need to release

I take it u mean PULL it from the bottom and top to remove it lol

No, he means push.

You are then tilting the glass towards you at the top, where you should see a wire hoop spring just behind the glass. This needs un hooking with a small screwdriver and then you can lift the mirror glass out and upwards.

There are two types of fixings.

The above is assuming that yours is this type of fixing. (Photo are of auto dimming mirror, so your may not have the same electrical connections).

Just be careful.

When I had to do this for our Sprinter I got on YT and found the perfect video...but the mirror on the van was different...in fact the fixing was different on each side of the van!!
