How to stand out in a crowd

A friend of mine has a 208 CLK in a similar colour (yellowstone - factory MB), and there's plenty of yellowstone SLKs about.

Never seen another CLK in that colour before though - it's pretty bright!

Edit - I also think there's a member on here with an R129 SL500 in yellowstone, as well as Jay's yellow W123 etc ;)

Yep - that's the R129 SL500 I mentioned.

I remember it when it was for sale - late registered (S/T IIRC) but doesn't have the final 'facelift' bits on it (eg mirrors/steering wheel etc)

Not many R129s in yellow either I'd imagine, although I do recall an SL60 that was repainted yellow and then advertised as being 'pace car spec' for something like £30/40k a few years back!

Yup yellow works for me.

A fair few Triumph sports cars were done in yellow ("Mimosa Yellow", IIRC) - Stag, TR6, GT6, etc.

A friend of mine acutally owned this car for a few months at the end of last year/beginning of this one (serial car swapper!). Seems to spend most of it's recent life for sale.
I know he had a job shifting it, and eventually part ex'ed it.

It's a shame he changed it so quickly, as I would have loved to have seen this one in the metal :(

I've never owned a yellow car, but I have to say that one's not too horrendous, but I'd need to see it in the flesh before I could say for sure if I liked it or not. It'd certainly be easier to find in a car park than the Azurite Silver of my current car!
