Yeah yeah....woteva:rolleyes: Your Cossie has a big one on the back too... :p  :D

On a serious note though the boot spoiler does look tacky on the W202 where on the W201 190E Cosworth it is standard and suits the car but was an option on all other W201s.

A joke I got sent

H.M. Gov survey into men with abnormally small pen!s. please could all who wish to take part please indicate by flying a white flag with a red cross from their house or car. Thank you.

Made me laugh :D

PLEASE!! No more flag jokes/emails etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

am i missing something here? I dont have any flags on my car or van but I can,t see whats wrong with it. i would imagine most people who have them would agree they are indeed naff but thats the whole point isnt it?
I think if a person has more than 2 on there then they do need to have a word with themselves:bannana:

Look, the weather has got better so we cant moan about that. We are British we NEED to moan about something!

I really, really wish I had an electric rear blind. The only problem would be whether to attach a German or Brazilian flag to it.

I saw one on a black RR Phantom in Leeds yesterday (WTL1?).

So sad.

So so sad.

Beat this.....
(it is real, just a poor 'phone-pic)

I was very disappointed to see this earlier today.

Why? We live in a world full of choice. An Englishman has chosen to buy a German car, but still wishes to show support for his national team in the forthcoming world cup.

I don't have a great interest in football, and won't be following the action closely. But it's a popular game in this country and people are very passionate about it. Every 4 years the championship comes along and this passion gets to fever pitch.

I can find no reason to get upset about people flying the cross of St. George on their cars, be it a Fiesta or a Rolls-Royce. Just because it's not my thing, so what? We, thankfully, live in a free country. Think about the fact that in the not too distant past, the only flag you would have seen flying on a Mercedes-Benz would have been the swastika. Let's hope that never becomes the case again.

It's upsetting to see them on any vehicle or house for that matter! I'm in a permanent state of 'cringe' at the moment  May it all end sooner rather than later.

Bah humbug ;)

Sooner, trust me...

If we still had rep, I would personally have given a point to everyone if England got anywhere near the quarter-finals :P Now all I can do if England goes near the quarter finals is invite you out for a pint/glass of beer. I'll be in Italy by then, so I'lll meet you there :P

I do think these 'football' flags are very tacky ; however , when it is done properly , flags CAN look very well on a Mercedes-Benz ... as illustrated below .

Not seen one yet on an MB thank god! - but I have seen numerous cars with flags on all windows, rear screen and the kiddies visors on the back windows.

Hope they have aircon!

Saw a metro on the way in to work this morning with the whole bonnet painted with the St george flag. He might have to repaint this sooner than he thinks (hopefully).
