I experienced something for the first time yesterday ...

OK, must be weather-related then... you were not hit by lightning, I hope?

Lightening struck the petrol station?

Bingo !!!

We have winners.

The weather was horrendous and we were smack in the middle of a rather violent thunderstorm. Lightning was almost continuous.

The petrol station was refusing to allow petrol to be drawn until the storm passed.

First time I have ever been at a petrol station where weather has caused me to have to wait to draw fuel on the grounds of safety.

Well done ! :thumb:

How about diesel? Did they stop that too?

its all total b*ll...

Fuel is deep underground, petrol station has a canopy, chances of lightning affecting anyone filling up with fuel is just ridiculously tiny.

Maybe, but I think I would still prefer to play it safe.
