Thats what I was thinking.... There can't be much difference between the MPG of the 280 and the 55.....

Why worry, the world may end next week. Just looking forward to doing some serious work on it to bring it up to its original spec. May take some time though

we are guessing they will be about the same - the 280 does between 20 and 25mpg on day to day use. We've never really taken it on any long runs because we have the E320 for that
