hi, my '96 c180 auto shakes a little bit when im parked up, the reves seem to be sitting around 600-700rpm. is the idle speed too low which is causing the car to shake? any help would be magic!

I believe that an idle speed of 6-700 rpm is correct for a warm engine. It's what mine does.

It could be/maybe the engine mounts, whats the mileage ?

the idle speed is 600rpm when warm but still feels like its running a bit rough and it could even cut out??
and i opened the bonnet and had a good look around. i cant see anything that could cause a problem. the engine itself does move ever so slightly when i tried to move it around looking for give on the engine mounts.
the mileage is just over 80k so surely it cant be something serious?

Mine is 600 all the time, hether cold or hot and no vibration at all...
