If you didnt have a Merc what would you drive ??

I defected a while back - to BMW and then VW. I took a look at MB each time but ended up staying away. I rather like my current car - so if I had to buy another car tomorrow I'd stick with the same VW - but I'd probably take a look at an E Class or possibly a GLC before committing.

SWMBO defected even further back - to BMW. If she had to buy a car tomorrow it would probably be back to MB and a SLC.

I'd probably drive a Lotus Evora 400 or a Lotus Exige V6. Oh, hang on............;)

Our E is being swapped for an Audi this spring so we'll have an MB and an Audi.

Money no object (or when I've paid off my mortgage) a Ferrari GTC4 Lusso.

Bentley Arnage

I have one car for all uses and it's a new Mercedes. Saab if I'm wanting retro and skint, Maserati GT if flush and a bit mad, a newish Volvo XC90 or estate, if feeling normal and older than now.

Maserati Ghibli

.....

or preowned equivalent value BMW 6series Gran Coupe.

Had the BMW for two and half years and it's a car that I simply forget I ever had. That's how much I haven't missed it.

So the Ghibli might be a better bet!

Mondeo, great car to drive, cheap to run, main dealers treat you right,in short a complete change from Mercedes other than the mercedes is also great to drive, but the cost and P--s taking from the stealers is just getting too much.

A BMW to match my BMW motorcycle.

I had a 640 gran coupe for 6 months, just had to get rid of it.

Lovely looking car that just left me cold. Completely unengaging to drive.

Came back to merc and love my e class.

Have to say I do really enjoy driving my wife's jcw mini. Fun to drive but with the adjustable dampers it's fine on longer journeys too.

Before buying my current C300h I was seriously considering the BMW 4 series Grand Coupe, but its 'cheap' and old style interior on one hand and the lack of a hybrid version on the other really put me off and steered me towards Stuttgart.

Now I really fancy the Giulia.

Low end Porsche Panamera
