Well its been sat in the garage for roughly 12 months and finally managed to get down to MSL yesterday (part of the Mini Meet) and have the Killer Chiller Installed.
I already have the Weistec Ice Tank installed which after some spirited driving would get quite warm. However, now with the KC installed you could cool tins of beer with the water!!!!
Without the KC installed IAT’s could be between 36 and 45 degrees Celsius.
However with the Killer Chiller installed never above 30 Degrees.
So what? I hear a few people say, well it makes a massive difference in “available power” as most 55 owners will know “heat soak” is a nightmare on Supercharged cars.
However, with the KC installed it’s like driving on a winters morning all day…just bags of power on tap.
Just for good measure we stuck the car on the Dyno (Originally it ran 605 RWHP which works out at 714BHP) and to my surprise and delight it ran 620 RWHP which works out at 732BHP!!!!
So another result from the MSL team and what a great day and night and a good opportunity to catch up with quite a few forum members.
Needless to say we all received the usual MSL Hospitality which included the famous chicken lunch and then we were all treat to a Birmingham curry on the night with transport to and from the hotel……Not many places offer that service…..if any.
So once again thanks to Acid and the team and the rest of the guys for a great day / night
