Illuminated Sun Visor on 2.5-16

Hi guys,

many thanks for all the help so far!
I understand that it was an option on the 2.5-16 to get an illuminated sun visor on the passenger side.
Is it possible to retrfit one of these, is it straightforward?

Yes, it is an easy mod to do both sides.

The thread below describes the mod on a C class but the job itself is almost identical in a 190, the only difference being the interior light.

Many thanks Spike, so what we are saying is that the wiring is all there already?
Not sure if you you or anybody else knows this but on the 190E could you also get a drivers side illuminated vanity mirror?

If you can't , check out German Ebay, for a passenger side illuminated mirror from a LHD car ......

The wiring isnt there but it is the same as a 202. You need new clips (with metal contacts) and a short cable from each that goes to the interior light.

at the risk of sounding stupid but where would i get all these bits from!??
to me that sounds very complicated!
