Honest, I am. Driving in to work today excited about picking up my new C Class Coupe C250CDI 125 Ed but realising what a really good car it has been. 2006 S60 D5 185. Owned it since new. Longest I have ever owned a car by far. 72000 miles of totally trouble free. comfortable, reasonably quick, economic driving. Bit dead handling but thats about it really. I am sure by 2pm this afternoon this will all be forgotten. Or will it! Anyone else really missed a car?

I'm sure you're going to love your new C-Coupe they're lovely cars!

I grew quite attached to my SLK350 I had before I got my E-class but I think it was because of the noise of the 3.5l V6, new exhaust on the E sounds a lot better now it is bedding in despite being a diesel.

I think you will appreciate the change from front to rear wheel drive handling--- except in the snow of course. The S60 in its later incarnations was an underrated car especially after they sorted the initial rock hard suspension.

It's not just that you will have a new and different car; its a Mercedes Benz hopefully you will come to really like it. They do have a different cachet than most other makes, many on here think so, I'm on my 8th, looked at Volvo, couldn't fault them really, but I'd miss driving an MB. My brother has the eDrive V70 with 'just' a 1.6 deisel engine, but its really very good, but its not an MB.
Let's have some feedback, its a great model you selected.

Well Ive picked up the MB and driven it all of 1 mile from the dealers to the multi storey in town. I have to work this afternoon! Boo hoo!! First impressions? I cant get the sat nav to display without turning on the radio!! I am sure I will have lots of fun things like this to contend with in the coming days. It looks amazing and I am sure I saw lots of adming glances as I drove throught the center of Winchester :) Off to pick the mother in law up from Southampton Airport after work so my first few days of ownership will be ferrying her around! Ho Hum.
