Hey,

I participate in a lot of conference calls and as such a lot of the time on the call is spent on mute just listening in. I'd like to put a fitted incar bluetooth system into my W202 but none of the offerings i can find from IO and Parrot seem to have the ability to mute the microphone.

Am i missing something here? Does the mute feature on the phone cut the microphone to the system or does it need to be a feature on the system itself?
I'd be using either a blackberry pearl or an iphone to connect to the system

Thanks for you help.

Parrot do a bluetooth headunit.......

That's not so much the issue here - my question was that if any one knows of a bluetooth handsfree kits, which allows you to mute the phone / handsfree microphone. The phones themselves allow this, but from what my research has shown, you cannot mute the microphone on the actual unit itself.

My Motorola kit has a mute button.
It's the HFW800; not sure if they are still available though.

MB kits allow one to mute the mic

Most conference call services allow you to mute your connection via a series of keypresses. *6* on the one our company uses.

*facepalm* Why on earth didn't i think of this myself, i completely forgot our system does this too - this might be the ideal solution :bannana:
