Does it not just alternate between service A & B on certain models??

Not necessarily - it alternates the warning between A and B, so with annual servicing, "odd" number years are A, even numbers B, so 9 years is A!!

At least with Kwikfit and other fast fit operations you can watch the work in progress to some extent which you cant at most main dealers.

I use them for basic servicing, they have good guys at my local branch. The manager trained with the service manager at the nearest MB dealer.

Like any national chain, Kwik Fit is as good or bad as the mangement and team at the branch you use. A good one is great, a bad one is shocking. The same is true if Mercedes dealerships.
