Ah but it's easier to clean if it never gets really filthy. The exhausts slid off much easier this year than last!

I may be being hyper-critical but is that an orange peel effect in the paint?

I've seen this on my car if the light is right (wrong?). Perhaps, it's time to get the rotary out again?

Maybe we need to ask Detailed on the best techniques to correct this.

Had planned on giving the car the full treatment this weekend, unfortunately we're in the west, no such luck on the sunshine front.

The car does have orange peel but it has been polished countless times and it's still there so I'll be ignoring it :)
 
That's a shame I was hoping to get some tips on how to deal with it. Suspect it's just the nature of the paint.

You really don't notice it on the the bonnet shots, seems to be more obvious on the vertical surfaces.

I think you are right, the vertical surfaces seem to stay noticeable, however, I,m loving the car and just ignore it :)
