my motor 2007 w211 has always been serviced by main dealer, ive just recently got it and had B service done by main dealer. must admit for the cost not that impressed. now next service if I use a specialist mb indi how would my service records be kept, as main dealer gave me a printout of the service record and history (digital printout) question is would indi have access to this service site and be able to supply same type of printout ? or back to booklet ? just to end wasn't that impressed with main dealer, all bull**** and coffee, rather have cheaper price's and quicker service. was there all day.

An mb merc specialist can do the exact same as dealers ie get up and print out your service history If digital and update obviously.. Most mb specialists are run by guys that used to work for the dealers but decided to set up on their own which makes sense.. I'm definitely not using main dealers again unless it's a free health check where you get a free wash n vacuum : )
