injector issues with the w211 e320 2004 model

Hi, I have been told by a local indi merc mech that the injectors on the e320 can just stop and the cost of replacement astronomical.
Is there any truth to this ?

Not really... then tend to leak or clog producing blacks smoke.. They are around £150-175 each + fitting.

As Jay says. Dont worry about it. They dont often fail completely.

Run some good quality injector cleaner through every now and again.
