Hi I posted last week about after hard acceleration followed by a loud tapping sound. A lot of people suggest it is probably injectors....... If this is the case is it really bad to continue driving the car in this state......I just read another forum where someone had other similar issues where as smell of fumes in the car and although I don't see any puddles the fuel seems to disappear quicker than normal.....any help would be great....the car just seems powerless at times well most times.....getting up to 70-75mph is a drag.....please bear in mind I am not mechanically minded but am definitely going to try remove both engine covers and look....if someone had a photo of what these injectors look like it would be great......also by removing the covers I am not committing myself to anything I will need to be able to put them back as they were...

You should get this test performed

Its an injector leak off test, the clear pipes are attached to the tops of the injectors and measure how much fuel is "leaking off" which can/will cause performance issues.
Injector 3 & 4 in the above video need servicing/replacing by the look of it.
