hi
i'm about to attempt removing the inlet manifold on my c250td, full of oil and when on boot its blowing past one of the o-rings . picked up some new rings from the dealers - i asked for 5 - they said i need 10.
are there any watch outs on manifold removal , other than dont drop anything into any of the inlets... and what are the bolt types called?
ps.... just changed the sender ( transducer) or MAP sensor, depending on what you like to call it , the one on the passenger side bulkhead, with a hose from the inlet renewed too.
Its solved my problems with boost seeming low, car accelerates much better now, and boost really picks up, for £70 for a genuine part , made a vast difference to drivability
