Installing a usb port?

Hi guys, wondering if it's possible to install a USB port in the glovebox of my 59 plate w212? I haven't got the cradle and don't intend on buying 1..

Sorry just realised meant to put in the centre arm rest area where the cradle is located not the glovebox!

I am assuming you are not referring to a simple charging USB port, but to a USB port for connecting to the car's sound system? If so what system do you have - e.g Audio 20 / COMAND etc? And what are you trying to connect e.g. iPhone, USB flash drive, etc? And have you considered UMI?

Well I'm not too fussed either way whether just to charge my iphone 5s or to connect my audio 20 to my iphone via the USB port..
Sorry lol What is a UMI? Universal media interface ?
