When you say "kitted" do you mean fitted with a body kit a la Cosworth?. If so, I'd be especially careful as underneath that kit could be a whole lot of rust in areas that a standard car won't have - especially under the arches. You won't know without removing the kit, and how many sellers would let you remove it before purchase?

It's no worries either was really, paying money to have rust sorted or paying money to have a kit sprayed long term project car,
