Interior Heater Blower w202 c200

Hello All!

Ok, so the central blower, above the CD Player and other switches, doesn't blow any warm air, purely cold and I have to rely on the side blowers for ANY heat!

I it just a matrix to be replaced, and if so does anyone know of the part number for this?? :/

Finally, is it easily replaced if I buy it myself?

Try unplug the duo valves electric plugs, should give max heat then. If no help, it could be control flap malfunction of the air duct... heater matrix is not usually blocked. Also circulation pump (delivers engine coolant water for heater matrix) may be failing. If remember right it's also located near duo valves in W202... Is engine temp OK?

Have you had warm from the central vents before? Has the car got A/C?
On cars without A/C, the central vents do not blow hot air, they are only fresh air vents.
Cars with the digital climate control will blow warm air from these vents.
Cars with A/C and rotary control temp. settings not sure but I believe again they will again only be fresh air vents, if anybody knows different I,m sure they will post.
If the car is getting warm air from the side vents, there will be nothing wrong with the matrix or the duo valve.
