Interior Lighting

Interior lights went out yesterday because of a short at the electric sunroof switch.

I changed all the fuses and following advice on this forum removed the cluster to change the blade fuse in the red holder behind the dials, what a suprise to see the holder stuffed with foil!!.

I have scooped the foil out and fitted a blade fuse but still no joy the lights still refuse to work. I am now worried that a wire has burned out, but this does not seem possible in such a short time.

Does anyone have any suggestions
