Good day everyone,
I have experienced weird problem with my car signal light. Last weekend, I have driven the car about 300 miles continuously mostly on the A roads, when suddenly the instrument cluster showed warning to check the front right indicator light. When I used the signal to turn right the turning light indicator at the dashboard flashing fast like blew bulb symptom. But when I parked the car and checked all the signal light ok. I switched off the car for a while and turned it on again, the problem disappeared. Any idea of what might caused the problem. Thanks.

When you get the message, does the repeater in the mirror work?
Sounds like it might be a broken wire in the cable to the mirror repeater.

Check the holder your front indicator bulb is held in, I had this problem on my slk, the terminals on it were corroded so causing a bad connection.

I also had this problem during the first few hundred miles but it cleared up of its own accord and it's been fine since. I think there was a similar thread on here a few months ago.

This is quite a common ssue on the 203's.

There is a modified wiring loom for the front indicators available from mb to cure this fault. If it is the front that is causing it.

Thks for the replies, all the light including the repeaters ok. Perhaps, false signal been send to the ECU as mentioned by Olly there is new upgraded wiring loom available from Merc. Dealer to solve the problems. I'll visit the main dealer if got time later. Thks.:thumb:
