Thought I would just like to mention that a 'Silver Metalic' is the cheapest metalic paint to manufacture, (silver is the basis of all Metalics, the colour is added by varying degrees), maybe that's why they are so popular.

And you will most probably surprised that Green Metalics are the most expensive and Solid Whites are the heaviest

Having had 3 Silver cars prior to my current black one I have to say silver is the way to go. Black is a royal PITA to keep clean and swirl free. I have to use 2 buckets, 2 wash mits and was the car SLOWLY in sections starting from the top to prevent swirls.

All I needed to do on my silver cars was give em a quick once over with a grubby sponge to get them looking their best

However, saying that, nothing beats the look of a clean black car (even if it only stays clean for 15 minutes )

Then maybe we could have a round of golf on my private course designed by Jack Nicklaus.... also in my back garden.......

I'm suffering with a 230 on fuel econ.... i'm used to putting fuel in once every 2 weeks, or was, as i have only driven diesels for the last 5 yrs....

Now i'm fillling up more than once a week and am barely gettin 300 miles to a tank where as i'm used to gettin more like 500 miles to a tank !!!!

I'm thinking about an LPG conversion........
