Has any body managed to get Internet access on their Command Online system via an iPhone 4S and if so how?

I have been in touch with Mercedes customer services & I have t he same issue with my E class 250 coupe. On 2013 models they have have fixed the problem. They have informed me there is no fix planned for pre march 2013 models. They told me to replace my phone !
