I'm not 100% sure on what the delivery time is, some people have to have one straight away and will pay a premium for it, don't see the point to be honest but always easy money to be made if you can wait for one.
Was delivered on friday, opened the box finally yesterday - still haven't even used it yet
I'm not sure why - perhaps it's a sign. I think my iphone 4 has been the best phone I've had. Got it the day it was launched, been all round the world, 2+ years of heavy use and it's still as new - totally faultless. I'm sure I will sort it out this afternoon - rainy sunday.
Can't imagine why people camp outside apple stores etc - seems a bit pointless?
BMW F11 Touring + Porsche 911 Carrera S + Toyota Alphard Camper
Couple of people I was out with last night both had them, both said that they wished they had just kept their 4s and moved to a £15 a month plan.
Really not sure what it offers over the 4s really, the new 16:9 screen is good for SkyGo and CatchUp TV etc. but apart from that couldn't feel any difference while using it.
I'm going to sort it out in a minute, kind of realised that as an ongoing iphone user I might as well keep it..
I'll need to get a case from somewhere - any recommendations?
Also going to have to get another couple of the USB/charging leads. I guess once I've changed over and settled down, it should be a good phone for the near future
Have you tried changing the battery on a W164 ML (particularly the early ones), they are under the right hand front seat, and originally I think you had to cut the carpet ..

We went into Car Phone warehouse in Staines. The chap there was seriously good - he actually calculated out the 24 month costs on the various O2 tarrifs, and for us it worked out that one of the tariffs (with about half the iPhone cost paid up front) was most effective. I normally would do that - but he just did it without prompting/asking.
Amazing how expensive some of the tariffs are if you try and pay £0 for the phone- hundreds of pounds different.
Phone £249.99, 2 year @ £26 = £873.99
Phone £0, 2 year @ £46 = £1104
(both unlimited text/mins & 1GB data)
Thats £230 for 2 years credit on a £500 phone. And as its paid every month, thats about a 40% interest rate.

ps. CarPhone Warehouse had basically every kind of iPhone in stock at their warehouse for delivery to the store the next day. O2 Store no stock.
The trick with ML batteries is to buy them from the parts dept at MB who always (in Greenoaks) who will then fit for free My 07 ML was still on its original battery in 2012 and it showed no signs of trouble, so hopefully its not a regular occurrence
