Hi all

Going to buy Mrs Toad an Ipod Nano for her birthday , but see that it only supports XP or Vista.

We have Windows 7 on our machines now , is there some way around this ? are they planning on offering an Ipod Nano with W7 support ?

Thanks in advance

Windows 7 is roughly as compatible as Vista. The iTunes software works just fine on Windows 7, I use it with an iPhone so there is no reason to beleive it won't work with an iPod Nano.

To be honest if Windows 7 didn't work with a Nano out of the box there would be millions of complaints so I really wouldn't worry... it will just work!

If there was a problem however, you could use XP Mode in Windows 7 to ensure compatibility.

I use a Ipod Classic and have had no problem on W7. Have to admit I have not tried my older Nano though. Can't imagine that there is not a firmware update if necessary though.

I use a 2nd gen iPod touch and windows 7 with no problems. Also my wife's nano connects ok too
