"Total Automotive Solutions Ld t/a Insignis Cars
Insignis provides you only with quality assured vehicles"

Well, that tagline is very reassuring - I'll pop up there and buy a couple of "quality assured vehicles" from them. Mind you...it doesn't say what type of quality they are.

Wonder what the cost of all those bits would be.

Yup they just took all those of for a bit of a clean then forgot where they put them. Or somebody totalled the front end of the car. Hmm ... I wonder which it could be?

They need to be lhd .... obviously rhd are not sought-after!

The French Govt. has issued guidance on ex-pats' rights in the event of no-deal and we leave on the 29th March. Looks like we get a year to sort things out, so you may still have time!

Importing cars from the UK is now computerised, rather than queuing in busy public offices. Sadly, they must have engaged CAPITA (apologies to anyone on here from there!) as it's practically impossible to use.

I imported a Wolseley 6/110 18 months ago (UK car, but from Holland) and it's being renovated. In true French fashion, it's now approaching a year and I'm concerned I may encounter problems if I try to register it after March ... can't do so until it's roadworthy and has passed a CT (French MOT) ... so am hoping the year's grace will apply. Meh!

I have taken an LHD car from the UK to Italy.

It's perfectly doable, but the paperwork costs in Italy to have the car registered there were quite high, so not something you'd normally want to do unless it was a special car etc.
