Hi Guys, I've got a w204 C180 2012, and it's got the 4 spoke steering wheel, and I'm really not a huge fan of this style:

I much prefer the 3 spoke style version and was wondering if it is at all possible to have it swapped over:

Anyone know if they are a compatible swapover? Or if there's any potential concerns/pitfalls for doing so?

Cheers,
Tim

You can swap them around.

Depending on the options fitted to either car, you may need to swap the electronics between the two steering wheels.

And don't have the key in the ignition at any point while the airbag is disconnected or you'll get an SRS error message on the dash (can be reset with iCarsoft).

The issue with any steering wheel removal is that you need to correctly realign the Steering Wheel Angle Sensor (aka 'clock spring'), or you'll get EPS/ABS and SRS fault messages on the dash - YouTube videos will help.

Brilliant, cheers for the info!

Mine is a manual, so no paddle shifts or anything like that, and the Multifunctional buttons look to be a 1:1 match. Was there anything else, swapping electronics wise, that I would need to look out for?
