I am close to putting an order in for a CLA45 Shooting Brake and one option I am unsure of is the Dynamic Plus package.
I am going for the ride control sports suspension anyway so this would mean about an extra £1400 for the diff lock and performance steering wheel. I am not bothered about the steering wheel as the standard one seems fine to me but is the diff lock really worth it?
I am almost certainly not going to track the car and whilst I do sometimes like to accelerate and corner quite hard its not a regular thing.
Would it actually help in situations like wet or snow or does it not make a difference?
I have the sport diff on my current car (S5 Sportback) and have had no problems in the wet and it performed really well in snow too, not that we have had that much but I am guessing that's more down to the 4WD rather than anything else!
Also I am sure I read/heard somewhere this package includes race mode, I assume this is just LC but I thought it came with LC anyway?
