Hello all,

Thanks in advance to everyone on the forum- I've answered a lot of my questions with this forum!

I am looking to connect my iPod/iPhone to my 2006 C-Class Coupe. There is no AUX button on the stereo, but there is CDC which I assume is CD Changer? I also didnt think there was an AUX point until I saw this in the glovebox today:

Is there anything I can do with this? What is it?

Any help really appreciated! This is the stereo I have:

That's an Audio20 model radio/cd player and it looks (to me) like an AUX jack plug for connecting an ipod or similar.

You have to press and hold the CDC button for a couple of seconds to select AUX input. To exit press any other of the audio source buttons. i.e. Radio / CD / etc.

Incidentally... the two plastic clips along the top edge are a pen holder.

Yup looks like a standard audio jack socket, we have the same in our C Class (and the Vito). Be prepared to crank up the volume a bit on whatever you connect to it ... apart from that it works fine.

Perfect, thank you so much. It's taken me 18months to notice this!

Also, next question, does anyone know how to turn off traffic alerts?

I think it's press and hold the mute button, until it beeps, same to turn it back on. (Yes, that's correct, I've just been out to check it).

Presume you don't have a handbook?

This online link may be useful... Owners Manual: A Go-To Source for Information on your Vehicle | Mercedes-Benz

USA version, but a lot of the things will be the same.
