Is this anyone's c350e??

I had a look but have no idea what he is on about, I thought he was whinging about someone blocking the way to the charger but the replies suggest otherwise.

No, it's not me BTW

its because these EV owners driving stuff like Leafs etc charge really quick on a rapid charger, where as the C350e does not, its more of a trickle charge over 3 hours for less range.

The c350e is well within its rights to be charging, maybe some EV owners will think otherwise.

Outlander owners get the stick too... or anything with a engine!

Got it.

Fully electric vehicle owners feel more entitled to use the charging stations compared to hybrid owners.

This is a new issue.

or.. EV drivers buying into the eco friendly option before the core infrastructure is in place.

In my own opinion, theres not enough charge points with the increase of PHEV's on the road, but the pure EV drivers choose to take that gamble... plus with the amount of charge "stations" now charging more and more, it will push the PHEV users away as its no longer cheap to get a charge v petrol.

So before long, there will be loads of PHEV's which only charge at home.

I knew all this green stuff would lead to problems, suggest you go with a fully charged taser that should sort out any argument, after all it seems people like electricity.

Apologies but all I seem to do is rant on here I'm sure it's only a matter of education but it's getting a bit silly now. When selling an EV car they should have a booklet on how to use these charging points responsibly. Tried charge bump not registered, left a note, I was lucky the other bay at the side was empty ( disabled space).

Sorry but I fully intend to use public charging points with my C350e where I can ...

In fact the only cars I see using the charging points in the NCP Car Park I will use is one A3 e-tron ...

I understand it must be a little annoying to them.
But the thing is, they've no right to it over any other plug in car?! OLEV offer the same grant to C350e's as, say, a Nissan Leaf.

Just annoys me reading all their whingeing. I'm feeling annoyed.

Well I look forward to the day when I am asked to p***o*f by anyone.
I was on an Ecotricity pump last week and a EV owner kindly reminded me that the security lock was on when I was unable to remove the pump cable from my car. :)

Also if I recall correctly Ecotricity offer a choice at the pump, the socket I used was regular cable type 2.
Point is if I had been able to use a different cable I would still be occupying the same car parking space. Or is that the Type 2 is being used in the report above and the whinger is wanting to use the same cable ?

Good for them!
Like any section of society I'm sure they're not all loons...

Can someone clear this up because I haven't got Facefook?

Is there now some sort of hierarchy with these electric motors? Those without an engine get upset if the hybrids are being charged instead of theirs?

Is the guy whinging because the MB was just slow charging in a fast charge space?

Or was he whinging because the MB was fully charged and the owner just left it there blocking the space?

Because one whinge is completely different from t'other.

Doesn't look like it's fully charged so I presume it's that it was taking too long in his eyes and that the motivator was just because it's a cheap / free parking parking space.

What would interest me is how far he had come to get there. Surely if it's a local trip he would have plenty of EV range left to get home so could park in a regular spot. But hang on, that would mean he wouldn't get the cheap/free parking and free electricity himself and would have to pay for his own charging at home.

I'm such a cynic!
