Yep, looks like the newer COMAND 2.0 from the W203 or W209

Yea that comand is from a pre facelift W203 & W209. A chunk of the console trim has been cut to get it fitted and still looks out of place.

I think its more likely a comand 2 from a G wagen myself.

The w203/W209 comand units require the speed pulse on the canbus. The W208 doesnt have this. The W463 comand units have a separate speed pulse as per w208

Looks out of place to me.
