Hello.

In my rush to put the back seats up this morning, I put the headrest back in the wrong place.

Meaning, on the 2 seat bit I put the headrest in the middle two holes, rather than the correct 2 - problem is, I can't get the bloody thing out, aside from taking the hack saw to it has anyone got any suggestions for me please?

A very annoying problem.

By the way, the cars a 124 Estate (250 TD 1987)

Cheers.

Tim

Hello is there a button on the side of either of the holes you have put it in? I'm guessing one of the holes must me the correct one for a headrest..

If so press or push the buttom and pull out.

Failing that then pull it out as hard as you can? ....

Hi - there is a button on one side, but - the side of the headrest that is meant to go into the hole with a button (with the ridged bit) is in the hole without the button, but still seems to catch on something. I've tried pressing, and pulling, and putting the right bit of this other one in the right hole to try and "open" the gate that's jamming it to no avail.

Any more suggestions?

Wait till bolide comes along or PM him.

He knows about this stuff.

Bottle jack underneath with two bits of wood...and start jacking.....

Sorry no more ideas...

Worked a treat! Cheers guys. All back as it should be with no signs of damage.

Cheers!
