Evening,
I Popped into Bath for a pizza this evening and scratched the sodding car again on a bollard  I have managed to get rid of most of it with some silvo but there are some rather deep scratches that I will need to look at in the morning :(

I'm getting pi***d off with this! Time for parktronic retrofit while I have the car to bits for my stereo upgrade

Oh Bo***cks !

Tough luck.

Perhaps all you need is a new set of Glasses mate. :D :D

or just let someone else take care of it for you - now let me think who might be the ideal candidate  Oh I know - ME :D

Sorry for having a giggle - one costly Pizza!!

Sorry for having a giggle - one costly Pizza!!

I could hire Blunkets Guide dog to drive it and he would do less damage than me :D

I obviously have a weak spot on the passenger side rear quarter, because this is the second time I have scuffed it :( (last time I used the GFs brand new Honda CRV to do the damage :( she was not a very happy pixey)

To be fair I was consentrating on not scratching the imaculate red scooby on the drivers side. I needn't have bothered :D As I came out of Pizza Express he was leaving the car park and backed out into some scafolding (I heard the crunch) so I wasn't the only one to have a very expensive night out :(

The father inlaw (to be) taught me a trick using silvo to remove the scratches and it has more or less worked perfectly :D So a lucky escape this time. Its time to get parking sensors and admit that I can't park my car to save my life :(

Intrigued... would you be able to let us know the special technique with Silvo? Anything to it other than rubbing it on?

I've got a minor scratch (slipped screwdriver  ) on the plastic number plate surround on the W203 (the recessed number plate plinth in the bootlid). Hoping it will polish out, Zymol didn't seem to make any difference.

Yes its simple take a small ball of sivlo and rub in the direction of the scratch :D it takes all the crap and paint scuffs out the scar and with a little luck it wont show afterwards :)Take your time and keep an eye on the surrounding paint though. Very handy not a cure all but does work in some situations :D

Good luck :)

T cut can be useful for minor scratches too.
Apparently T-cut contains amonia and can bleach the paintwork on modern cars :(

Small world

I was on the way back from Swansea last night to Aylesbury and because of crap traffic on the M4 decided to stop off in Bath for a pizza in Pizza Express - spooky - its a small small world.

I didn't see any bollards though, then again neither did you :p

 :D I made the mistake of parking in the piddling little car park opposite...

I have now come to the conclusion of many other posh car owners in Bath, that it's easier to park on yellow lines and accept the occasional ticket :(
I get a headstart on the SL anyway as it hardly fits in a standard space so even if I use a car park I need two spaces so I am Just as Likely to get done :(

Im not laughing at all (much :) ) What a nightmare :( They come in threes though so I would take a hammer to the rear light or something before you get your baby back :D

Have spent the day cleaning my car and cleaing the leather with the gliptone kit that I ordered  The missus almost walked out on me on the basis that I spent more time rubbing oil into the f*ing seats than I do to her...
(sad thing is I did :D ) I took the car over to the chew valley lakes this evening to take some pictures and when I got there a SHITEHAWK (seagull) crapped on the back of the car on the black shiney bit that the roof seals on  it was huge! Only just missing my leather  cleaned it off and took some pictures if they are any good I will post them on the gallery later :D

out of interest the speakers you had fitted did you bother adding any into the grills on the dash?

Best regards,

Peter
