Well spotted. Chrome ring needs pushing down onto the gaiter, was cleaning the car and forgot to push it back on.

Now thats what I call a thorough clean - never even considered the dirt build-up under the gearshift knob!

This should be a lesson to the rest of us... How clean is your car?

Yes I cant wait......... I trying limit the amount of mods to start with.

I think I will book it in with Comand.co.uk for the IPOD kit and Iphone cradle. I have orderd a new grill.

Then I will work on getting the Exhaust a bit louder.

What grill have you ordered? Ipod integration is a must - do you have phone - pre-wired in?

I ordered the CLK black with chrome bits.

I am pretty sure it has the phone wired in it has the ariel and the plug in the arm rest.

Sounds same as mine 06 CLK - did you get the new bonnet catch and lock to make it fit properly - takes about 10 mins to change over grilles, and don't forget the flat bonnet badge.

When you go into comand - press audio - Logic 7 will be displayed - you can adjust settings to suit your sound - i think its brill, especially with my Ipod.

Not sure how much the Iphone cradle/ charger costs. I use Iphone 3G with an HFP Bluetooth cradle which plugs straight into the plug under the armrest. Might be best to get quote for both. Beauty of the HFP bluetooth cradle is you can take it with you when you change MB's, or you get an MB courtesy car with pre-wire.

Up until now, I have been a loyal Audi fan and have had the Bose upgrade in most of the models I have owned. I think the HK system is far better - the prologic 7 surround sound is awesome. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
