Juddering Idling

I have been looking on american websites to see if it highlights anything further but it seems that there are three faults:

1. Coil packs not firing properly - so no proper spark
2. HT leads - see point 1
3. Lambda sensor(s)

Though I would expect a fault code to be logged so can't help further I'm afraid.

I spent a morning renewing all these but still it makes no difference. It would appear that nobody has the answer......not even Mercedes themselves who had it for 4 days !

Looks like I will just have to put up with it until a remedy is found.

It did but then it re-appeared after a few days. Now it is doing the same, may be not as bad and if I turn the engine off and start her again she runs fine.............until I reach lights or come to a stand still where she will start vibrating again after about a minute. Have had all the pipes and covers off again but they as clean as a whistle......very frustrating.

Checked them when I did all the replacement parts on it and they are well secure.

Its the only thing that lets this car down and its a shame as its a nice car to drive and I love the shape of the older Mercs as opposed to the newer shapes.

My e60 does this when the aircon is on.
Worth the effort turnIng it off to see if it makes a difference?

Have you checked the charcoal cannister purge valve is closing properly.
It might be worth connecting a vacuum gauge to see if there are any untoward air leaks, also check the Lambda output.

That was all done by the Merc garage and all was fine. Apart from shoving another engine in it I don't know which way to look as I have renewed so many parts its ridiculous !

Never ever use my aircon.

w205 C220 judder

Morning all,
i have a 2015 C220 Bluetec,(24,000 miles) when i come to a stop and the stop/start doesn't kick in the car judders and wants to go forward so i have to put it into N to stop this happening, once its in N the car just sits there as it should.

does anyone have the same problem?

i was think could it be the automatic hand brake not holding the car 100% due to worn pads? its just funny how its on in N when no power is going to the wheels,

any help would be appreciated or i will just have to book it in to Mercedes
and get fobbed off again !

I Have the same problem on my car 2012 c63 32500 miles, seems to run rough at idle and struggles during low speed round town with the rev needle bouncing.
I've also spend hundreds on trying to get it fixed,
I've had full software update engine gearbox esp and fuel pump. Plugs were changed last by mb and I checked the gaps prior to me cleaning the filters with no change. I had my car retuned by jerry still had the problem I soaked the maf sensors in some electrical cleaner and for around 3 weeks the car was a lot better not 100% though. I will be purchasing some new ones shortly as cleaning them is the closet I've got to getting it running right again. And to help having the gearbox oil and filter done again. But any other input would be great.
