Just got CLK63

Hello all....I just bought a CLK63 cab and have noticed a relatively quiet ticking noise that is in sync with the revs when I start it. Anyone got one and is it something to worry about?

Also, anyone know of any long tunnels around London. I am still at the slowing down just before and stamping on the accelerator stage. I swear the thing actually barks.

Yes I read about that and bought one anyway?!!!?? I listened to some of the recordings online and it's nothing like that thankfully. Got 2 years warranty with no limit so not that concerned.

Still I am no stranger to taking on Mercedes. I have a clk 350 as well and made them fix the balance shaft problem. You have to lie down for that one!!!!. Engine out job...

Alternator pulley can tick, but main dealers replace the whole alternator rather than just the pulley

Saw one of these in the weekend, the owner was driving one of his "other" cars at the time....

Makes me wonder if these are affected too?
