Just got these

Just bought these (v.cheap) , i'm gonna have a go at fashioning a tailpipe trim for the whale ....

They are apparently SLK tips..... will keep you informed of progress !

It will be fiddley as the tailpipe points downwards at 45 deg on a w124 coupe, but i reckon i can come up with something .....

I'm thinking coming under the rear bumper at an angle rather than straight , a la old skool Brabus ...

Or maybe even one each side ..... the point is to keep it looking OEM , i don't wanna get it wrong and Barry it up ...

We'll see ......

Gotta stop the modding and buying bits at the mo, if this c36 turns out to be real, then i'll be having that so no point in spending more cash and time on the whale ....

Hi Howard, I'm sure I saw these on Ebay yesterday. I've been thinking of doing something like that myself. I hate hidden exhausts on cars, but that's me.
