Spent most of yesterday trawling the internet for insurance for the E55.
Got some really good quotes, then thought I'd try Churchill.

9 yrs NCD, clean licence :

£418.95:bannana: :bannana:

isn't true that there are also discounts for 'older' people :)

NOt a bad quite that G ;)

Boozing already?

It's nice when you start getting "reasonable quotes". My premium dipped under £500 for the first time in my life this year.

Good to know Churchill will cover modified vehicles.

Thats what I have to pay this year to MB insurance for the SL
MB insurance wanted £750 odd:crazy:

That's declaring everything. Privilege wanted £620.00 to renew and I have 1 more yrs NCD:confused:

Before I started modding, it was only high £300's

Churchill have recently had their fingers rapped for making bold claims about never being beaten.

However, just got a quote like for like with my present insurer Esure. £25 cheaper - down to £181. (fully comp, NCD protected, total excess £500).

Not bad at all.

£181 per month? I wish mine was that cheap! ;)

RAC Insurance @£330

As you get older it gets less painfull.
At 47 years old the RAC quoted £330 fully comp 9years NCD protected nor courtesy car excess £200.

Hello,

Isn't car insurance one of the few things in life that costs less with age.

Problem is my cars tend to increase in insurance groups as I get older.

Still I was amazed that my current bus is only £400 for myself and wife (me 33, wife 27) cheapest car I have insured in a long time.

Mine is £90 a month with Zero NCB

Insurance now goes up steeply once you pass 70ish I believe.

Insurance for my 190E 2.5-16 (Cosworth) was under £150 this year. That's fully comp and covers SDP + commuting. I opted for an 'agreed value' on the policy which totalled the premium to £151 all inclusive.

Not bad living within the M25 and being mid-twenties, I confess it doesn't do a great many miles though :o

Will
