just sold my c63 amg

This is where my £20k would go:

Porsche 911 Supersport

would leave you a big chunk of cash for a MB:)

+1 (million)

A friend has a Turbo in that shape and colour, with RUF exhaust, arches and wheels from new. I'd give my left kidney for it, I've never come across a car with a better road presence (loud! wide! fast!)

mudster you obviously not to clued up on 993 turbos.

No I'm not to be honest, Porsche never did it for me.

I met one of suppliers yesterday and was driven back to my Hotel in his Porsche Cayenne S. I was surprised how cheap the interior felt. I really didn't feel like a quality car at all.

For £60K on a second car I'd prefer a Bentley or an Aston Martin, but I guess that's because I don't have the urge to go to race tracks.

Chiefski, was the C63 new or used when you bought it?

How many miles did you put on it?

Hi bought used from a family member i work local to home and have two other cars so did not use it lots, put on approx 4k miles sold with 20k miles on it,how you getting on with yours ?

With that suspension you would probably loose the right one as well.

I know what you mean though :thumb:

Very good thanks. In fact, loving it. Piling the miles on though :)

My brother fairly recently swapped his immaculate LHD 993 C4S for an 07 Imprezza (family car)...

The 993 interior was great, proper old skool clicky switches and dials, hilarious wipers and a ride that picked up every stone in the tarmac. Dingy as hell though (silver on black) although quite nifty round the Nurburg ring (I was following in a 993 C2).

I can see why they are regarded as classics.

Ade

Standard Porsche ride in my experience, though I hail back to the 1980-1991 era when I ran them. I don't suppose running them has got any cheaper over time, I seldom managed to leave the dealership without being at least £500 lighter in the wallet, and that was like nigh on 20 years ago, which did tend to blunt the enjoyment of ownership a trifle. :(

had no dab performance pack or harmon kardon, got back what i paid etc time for a change or same again fully loaded

Chiefski - have I just read on pistonheads that you're after another C63???

Hi after a m3 911 turbo gtr r8 or c63 not fussed which only sold mine because i got back what i paid 10 months ago

Ha ha...you crack me up!! In reality it probably ain't worth much more than that now  but on this occasion....I'll give your very generous offer a miss ;)

I do think you'll be a little underwhelmed by an M3 after the C63 (I had one before and as a road car, the C63 is better). However, I do understand more than most the need to just change for changes sake so if you're in a position to have something else then good on you! Same position that I was in when I sold my black one and I seriously considered an Aston V8 Vantage, Jag XFR and a 911 Turbo...in the end, I actually liked the C63 so much that I got another one!

:wallbash:
But thats a rebadged VW truck not a Porsche!
I'm with you on the Bentley & Aston both fine cars but only one of them has a clear quality advantage imho
