Need a new Battery fitted to one of my Key Fobs
Its a 220cdi 210 model type
Any advice on how to replace - do I need to have it replaced at Mercedes Dealership etc

Only if you want to be robbed!

Is it the plastic 2/3 button type? If so, use the key part to release the battery compartment (push the grey bit inside the key and lift up). Batteries are CR2025 - can be bought more or less anywhere (get my ones off E-Bay, Duracell)

I am sure that there are instuctions in your car handbook for changing the fob battery. But if you buy the battery from your Merc dealer, it's so simple they will do it on the spot, no charge. At least, mine did...
(Tip: get the spare done to avoid a return journey next week!)

Don't laugh but I bought a sidelight and a pair of keyfob batteries from the stealership the week I bought my car (wanted everything immediately!). It was about £6 for the batteries IIRC and I changed them at the parts counter myself, it's fairly easy.

There is no programming or synchronising to do with a facelift 210, new batteries in and away you go.
