Keyless go handle problem (just fitted new handle)

My drivers side keyless go door handle doesn't work, i've fitted a new handle but it still doesn't work. It wont unlock, seems to occasionally lock, but intermittently.

What else should i be looking at to fix this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Put new handle on passenger side, works perfectly.

There is a small micro switch at the back of the handle inside the door, is that likely to be at fault.

Does it send signal up to the seat controller in the door?

Hi David, yes im sure everything goes through the controller.

sure there isn't a break in the wire somewhere if it intermittently works?
