Good morning guys. I just got MY14 W222 S Class, equipped with Keyless Go ( or so I thought) however, I have to lock/unlock the car using the keyfob, as it won't lock/unlock otherwise. Is there such thing as Keyless Start only, rather than Keyless Go on the S Class?

A lot of cars have keyless ignition and not keyless entry now. Vast majority of BMWs, Land Rovers, etc unless specifically optioned with keyless entry

IMHO I would not want keyless entry, not even sure I'd want keyless ignition. When I press the button on the key fob, see the wing mirrors fold and the indicators flash 3 times, I know the car is locked!

When I touch my door handle same thing happens. Key stays in my pocket.

It does work, but I have to say that it takes some getting used to. - Every time you try the door it unlocks the car again, so you either need to put the keys out of range or get someone else to check that it's locked.

I think Keyless Go is awesome. Every time I use another car I "miss" Keyless Go. I will not buy another car without it and same goes for Parktronic and COMAND.

I couldn't rest easy at night having a function like that on my own car, 9 seconds is all it takes some of those hi-tech thieving wizards to have it off the driveway

It wouldn't take accomplished car thieves any longer to have a non KG car away either. Don't be too relaxed in bed :D

Hi, did you resolve this satisfactorily? I ask because I've got this same issue now on a new W222 when Keyless-Go entry/start was all working as expected for the first week, then failed.
